Jose E. Ignacio LPO, CPOSpecialties: Prosthetics: C-Leg and other microprocessor knee systems, M.A.S. transfemoral socket technology, vacuum assisted suspension including Harmony and the Limb Logic system. Bionic technology including the Proprio foot.

Orthotics: Pediatrics scoliosis intervention including SpineCor, the Providence night time TLSO as well as the traditional Boston and Milwaukee braces. Club foot management with the Ponseti AFO system. Adult management for CVA, multiple sclerosis as well as post-op and trauma bracing interventions.

Special Interests: Microprocessor and Bionic technology in prosthetics, scoliosis and pediatric orthotic care, prosthetics and orthotics for sport and recreational activities.

On Patients: My philosophy is to use a caring multidisciplinary team approach to prosthetics and orthotics. By involving the family, doctors, nurses, therapists and technicians we can achieve the best outcomes for our patients.”

On the P&O field: “The technology and advancements in Prosthetics and Orthotics is what got me interested in the field. The patients are the reason I want to stay in.

On CPO: “I feel CPO brings a sense of community as well as professionalism to the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics. Staff members are involved in may different service, charity, cultural and local organizations which allow each one of us to bring our own piece of the puzzle to patient care. This, in concert with attention to detail, clinical knowledge and commitment to patients and their families, separates CPO from the rest.

Personal Information: music (playing as well as listening), board sports, basketball, golf, fishing and most importantly discovering new and exciting things with my wife and kids.
