Anterior Overlap TLSOThoraco Lumbar Sacral Orthoses (TLSOs) are used mainly to treat fractures between T6 and L3. Every TLSO is designed to provide support and immobilization of the thoracic and lumbar regions following various surgical procedures/ traumatic injuries. TLSO are commonly used to help treat post-operative thoracic/lumbar fusion, laminectomy or discectomy, compression fractures, degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis, single column spinal instability immobilization, and facet syndrome.

A thoraco-lumbar-sacral orthosis, custom fit to patient. Anterior overlap body jackets are one piece, anterior opening, made of semi-rigid plastic. Anterior opening allows for ease of donning and doffing. Used when moderate to maximum control of T-L vertebrae in all planes is desired. Increases disk space through compression and displacing of fluid.

Indications:
• Compression fractures T6-L3
• Disc disease
• Low back pain
• Spondylolysis
• Post-op immobilization

Contraindications:
• Obesity
• Extreme spinal deformity
